As UnitedHealthcare enters its 10th season as the title sponsor, the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team begins the 2018 campaign with a well-rounded 16-man squad representing seven countries. Last year’s squad finished second in the Pro Road Tour team standings. Returning is all-rounder Gavin Mannion (USA), and is joined by Park City-native Tanner Putt, Colombian climber Janier Acevedo,and Travis McCabe, who is the reigning U.S. Pro Criterium national champion. Three new riders have been added - Eric Marcotte (USA), Serghei Tvetcov (Romania), and Hugo Velazquez (Argentina). Tvetcov finished third overall at last year’s Tour of Utah, then followed that with a second on G.C. at the Colorado Classic. Marcotte is a former U.S. road and criterium national champion, while Velazquez is a track specialist and 2017 Pan-American champion in the scratch race.
