START / FINISH - VELORAMA FESTIVAL - DENVER, CO

Description: When the race comes to Denver, the RiNo Art District hosts a companion music and bike festival, the Velorama Festival. Stage 3, an out and back through denver, Lookout Mountain, Red Rocks, Dino Ridge and Evergreen, will start and finish in the Festival.

Join cycling fans in the festival as they cheer on the race. Participate in both fun and competitive events, visit the experiential bike expo, and enjoy craft beer, wine and cider. Velorama will also be home to the team area, rider presentations and the race award ceremonies.

Plus, the Velorama festival has three nights of world-class music. For the full line up, visit the Velorama website. 

Parking: 

Public parking: Rockies Lot A and will be $15. First come, First serve. Cash only.

VIP Parking: Located in Rockies parking garage and will be $30. First come, First serve.  Cash only.

Check Light Rail and RTD for public transportation schedules. 

If you are riding your bike to the event, we recommend you check your bike at the bike Valet near the entrance located at 27th and Blake St. The bike valet is free, however we encourage tips!

KOM - LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN - DENVER, CO

Description: A local favorite for pros and amateurs alike and one of the most coveted King of the Mountain (KOM) spots in the Mountain Time Zone, Lookout Mountain will serve as the first of three opportunities during Stage 3 to see riders battle for the King of the Mountain jersey presented by Colorado Tourism Office. The climb boasts great views of Denver and the surrounding suburbs, and passes some iconic landmarks along the way. This is a great spot to watch the race as riders will be traveling at slower speeds.

Parking: Lariat Loop Road that leads to the top of Lookout Mountain will be closed starting at 6am that day. We recommend hiking part way up or biking to the summit to watch the race.

KOM - CRAGMONT DR. - DENVER, CO

Description: The King of the Mountain (KOM) spot on Cragmont Dr. will be the second opportunity during Stage 3 for the riders to grab points for the King of the Mountain jersey presented by Colorado Tourism Office. Cragmont Drive is the high point of Stage 3, topping out at 7,700-feet. This is a great spot to watch the race as riders will be traveling at slower speeds.

Parking: Street side parking will be limited on Cragmont Drive.

KOM - INDIAN HILLS - DENVER, CO

Description: The last King of the Mountain (KOM) opportunity during Stage 3 is on Indian Hills, before the riders start their descent back into Denver. This 10-mile climb is another great spot to watch the race as riders will be traveling at slower speeds.

Parking: Street side parking will be limited on Parmalee Gulch Road. 


DINOSAUR RIDGE - MORRISON - DENVER, CO

Description: Dinosaur Ridge is world-famous for it's dinosaur tracks, bones and unique geologic features. The riders will pass by Dino Ridge during Stage 3, on their way back into Denver. Bring the Family, catch the race, and stay for the many family-friendly activities Dino Ridge has the offer.

Parking: Parking will be available by Dinosaur Ridge. More information to come soon.

SPRINT - WHEAT RIDGE - DENVER, CO

Description: The race will pass by the sprint point by Wheat line High School twice during Stage 3. This will be a great spot to watch the race if you want to see the riders battle for sprint points towards the Sprinters jersey presented by Frontier Airlines

Parking: Street parking can be found in the surrounding areas.
