START - MOUNTAIN PLAZA - VAIL, CO

Description: Mountain Plaza will host the start of the Stage 1 of this years Colorado Classic. High energy by nature, the start line will be a great place to join cycling fans in cheering on the riders as they line up at the start and depart on Stage 1 of the race. The riders will pass by the Mountain Plaza numerous times throughout the day: four times for the women, and 8 times for the men. Mountain Plaza will also be home to Vail's bike Expo with many vendors and entertainment opportunities for all.

Bonus: Arrive early, and catch the stage 1 rider sign-ins, a great opportunity to meet the teams competing in the 2018 Colorado Classic.

Parking: Parking near the race is limited, but there are opportunities for parking during the day. 

Early bird parking will be located at the Lionshead parking structure on S. Frontage Road. The parking structure will be open all night prior to the event but closes at 9am and won't open again until 3pm. Please be advised that cars will not be allowed in or out of the structure between 9am - 3pm.

Additional parking is located at the Vail Village parking structure from 9am until it's full. 

Overflow parking will be found on the Frontage road, and is open all day.

We recommend biking or taking the bus into Vail, as parking will be limited on race day.

SOLARIS / INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE - VAIL VILLAGE - VAIL, CO

Description: Vail Village will be the center of action during Stage 1 of the 2018 Colorado Classic. Catch the action at Solaris and International Bridge, an ultra spectator friendly viewing point, as the riders pass by this location twice per lap! 

Parking: Parking near the race is limited, but there are opportunities for parking during the day.

FINISH / SPRINT - VAIL ATHLETIC FIELD - VAIL, CO

Description: Both the location of the Sprint and the finish line, this spot near the Vail Athletic Field is a great opportunity to see many key elements of the race. Watch the riders battle for Sprint points during the race and then for the finish line on the last lap of the race. Sprint points will help determine the leader of the Sprint Classification Jersey presented by Frontier Airlines that will be awarded at the end of the race.
