2018 COLORADO CLASSIC ROUTES
THURS, AUG 16
The Colorado Classics kicks off at Solaris in picturesque Vail Village (8,150 feet above sea level), with women’s and men’s circuit races beginning at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., respectively.
FRI, AUG 17
Day two features a return to the storied Vail Pass time-trial course, site of historic rides to the summit by the likes of Tejay van Garderen; Levi Leipheimer (USA Pro Challenge), and Bernard Hinault.
SAT, AUG 18
Racers make their way to Denver on Aug.18 for a weekend finale of stages that start and finish in Velorama. The men launch at 10:30 a.m. for the 100-mile Queen’s Stage that includes 8,133 ft of climbing.
SUN, AUG 19
The Mile High City will be on display for the final day of racing as riders lap a 9.1-mile circuit course from RiNo to City Park via 17th Ave. The women begin at 10 a.m. followed by the men at 12:15 p.m.
